Guesthouse Manual

Linens: Extra pillows and linens for the futon beds can be found in the large black armoire. Towels are located on the rack by the shower. You’re welcome to use what you need, just put what you’ve used in the laundry basket before checkout so we can clean them before the next guest.

Kitchen: Fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, refrigerator, microwave, etc. All available for guest use. You may use the refrigerator to store any food or drink, just empty your items before checkout. Also, please wash any dishes that you use and leave them in the sink.

TV: The TV has access to streaming apps for you to enjoy. Select “Towerstream” to login.

Trash: We’d greatly appreciate you emptying your trash into the large gray can before checkout (gray can=trash, blue can=recyclables). Note: Weekly trash pick-up is on Friday mornings, so we pull the cans out to the street on Thursdays.

Backyard: You’re welcome to enjoy the backyard amenities, including the patio dining set, corn hole game, & picking some fresh fruit off the trees! If you move any furniture, please just return them to their found position before checkout. Note: Our gardener comes on Wednesdays to mow the lawn.

A/C: The air conditioning unit is in the window. You can adjust the temperature to your liking (set to “cool”), but please make sure it is turned off before checkout. The AC unit has a remote by the front door, as well as a remote for the ceiling fan.

Heater: We have 2 heating options based on your needs. They are both freestanding units, one is a stationary box by the couch, and the other is an oscillating tower by the bed. Feel free to use one or both if you like it extra cozy! Please note not to move the heaters to a different plug.

White Noise: Light Sleeper? Me too! You can use the a/c window unit as a fan for some white noise to drown out the street sounds. There are also earplugs on your bedside table if you prefer silence.

Hot Water: The tankless hot water heater supplies hot water to the shower only.
